About B 018
B 018 is an underground club in the Quarantina (Karantina) district of Beirut. It grew out of parties that Naji Gebran organised in the 1980s, took the name B 018 in 1994 in a warehouse in Sin El Fil, and moved in 1998 to its current site, designed by the architect Bernard Khoury. The club is sunk into the ground, and its roof is a set of mirrored metal plates that can be lifted during the night to open the dance floor to the sky. B 018 suspended operations in 2024 after a dispute over its site and reopened on 20 July 2026, restored to the 1998 design. Naji Gebran's son Omran now runs the music, there is no raised DJ booth, and a fully analogue d&b audiotechnik system was installed for the relaunch. Wallpaper named it among the best clubs in the world in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
