About Abyss

Abyss is a hard techno club in the basement of TX Huaihai, the youth culture mall at 523 Huaihai Middle Road in Shanghai's Huangpu District. It is Shanghai's home for hard techno, hard groove, hard electro and other fast, heavy electronic music, with a main room built around a strong sound system and a smaller second room, The Pit, for house and disco, plus a restaurant. Guest bookings in 2026 have included Perc on 15 August and Tommy Four Seven on 21 August, alongside Chinese hard techno names such as Meguro in September. The club also runs BLOODBATH, a theatrical annual party that reached its fifth anniversary.
