The Island Festival returns to Obonjan from 3 to 7 September 2026, taking over the private Croatian island for five days and four nights. Obonjan lies around six kilometres off the coast of Šibenik in the Dalmatian archipelago and can only be reached by boat, which is central to the format: once the public ferry service is suspended, the pine covered island belongs to roughly 700 ticket holders. Music runs across four settings, the east harbour, the forest, the pool and the amphitheatre, with a separate boat party sold as an add-on.

The 2026 bill is led by Âme live and Dirty Doering, with Denis Horvat, Marcus Meinhardt, Luna City Express, FKA.M4A, Caren Callas and Suprachemical live also booked. Berlin label 3000Grad takes a showcase slot featuring Danjo & Verena, Mollono.Bass live, Nøvae and Stephan Zovsky & Danca. Acid Trainer, Ava Irandoost, Bordeaux, DJ Norma b2b Greta Spark, Farida Bady, Fragk, Franziska Berns, Iva Bodul, Kayf, Kollektiv Ost, Leeni & Danilo Kupfernagel, Lost Thought, Lovefoxy, Manthony, Marco Mesem and Steve Stix round out 28 billings. Doering and Meinhardt both played Obonjan back in 2017, alongside Andhim, Claptone and Oliver Koletzki.

Entry works differently from most events of this scale. Tickets are sold only as packages with accommodation, booked through theislandfestival.de, and day tickets do not exist. Guests pick between bell tents in the east and south camps or forest and sun lodges, with prices starting at 419 euros per person plus a 20 euro fee. Bed linen, towels and the daily yoga and meditation programme are included, while the breakfast package and the boat party cost extra. Ferries from Šibenik sail only on check-in and check-out days, and the closest airports are Split, Zadar and Zagreb, so for this music festival the travel plan matters as much as the line-up.
