Temper Festival (San Diego, CA, United States) 2026

Temper Festival runs in San Diego on Wednesday 30 December 2026 from 3pm to 11pm, presented by LED. The festival uses three stages across the site, with festival and field tickets both including entry and access to all of them.

LED have promoted electronic music in San Diego for close to two decades and are the main operator in a city whose dance scene has had to work around Los Angeles. Running on 30 December rather than New Year’s Eve itself is a deliberate choice: it catches the audience before they commit to a 31 December event.

Entry is 18 and over and tickets are sold through Leap Events. San Diego in late December is around 18 degrees in the day, the mildest December weather of any major American city, which makes an outdoor afternoon into evening event straightforward. San Diego International is ten minutes from downtown and Los Angeles is two hours north. For a Southern Californian New Year music festival, Temper is the San Diego answer.
