Ascend on the sandy shoreline of Liepāja, Summer Sound Festival 2026 returns to Latvia from 31 July to 1 August 2026, turning the Baltic Sea coast into a full-scale open-air music city where beach culture and large music festival production merge into one continuous summer experience. Known as the biggest seaside festival in the Baltics, it creates a rare setting where crowds dance directly on the beach while massive stages face the open water.

The 2026 lineup brings together a strong mix of global and regional acts, led by Alan Walker, Hardwell, Sigma, and Gogol Bordello, alongside a deep selection of Baltic and Eastern European artists including Bermudu Divstūris, Singapūras Satīns, Tautumeitas, Ansis, Ozols, Arturs Skutelis, Very Cool People, Muud, Biplan, Kautkaili, Deniss, and many others, creating a wide spectrum of electronic, pop, hip-hop, rock, and alternative sounds across the weekend.

Across the beach site, multiple stages are built directly into the sand and promenade area, with a large mainstage positioned facing the sea, supported by additional genre-focused stages that shift from EDM and pop anthems into hip-hop, live bands, and underground electronic sets as night falls. Is there an age limit for Summer Sound Festival?

There is no strict age limit, but children under 10 can enter for free with a ticket-holding parent or guardian, and children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially after 22:00.

What items are strictly prohibited at the festival?

You cannot bring professional or video camera equipment, umbrellas, weapons, drugs, glass items, pets, food or drinks, and other dangerous or bulky objects into the festival area.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the main festival area, but they are permitted inside the camping area, where visitors can bring their own supplies.

Is camping available and what are the rules?

Yes, there is a dedicated tent city and camper zone, but each person must have a separate camping ticket, and glass items, pets, drugs, and unsafe behavior are strictly forbidden in the camping area.

What happens if I don’t have a wristband?

A valid wristband is required at all times in the festival area, and without it you will not be allowed to stay inside; wristbands are checked at entrances and inside the site, and cannot be transferred or damaged.
