About Groovebox In The Park
Groovebox In The Park returns to Nottingham on 2 May 2027, running from 13:00 to 23:00 after a sold out day festival in 2026. The organisers promise a bigger experience this time, building on the single day format that worked.
Groovebox is a Nottingham house music promoter with a year round programme, including a residency at The Nest and collaborations with Submerged, and the park festival is the outdoor part of that calendar rather than a standalone event.
Tickets are sold through Skiddle and the Groovebox site. Nottingham is an hour and three quarters from London by direct train and an hour from Birmingham, with East Midlands Airport 30 minutes away. Early May in the east Midlands is cool at around 15 degrees with long evenings. For an English city music festival built on house music, Groovebox In The Park is the Nottingham one.
