Green Gathering XIV (Pokhara, Nepal) 2026

Green Gathering reaches its fourteenth edition near Pokhara from 24 to 26 November 2026, three days at a sustainable community space in the Himalayan foothills. The 2026 edition is titled Gathering of Tribes, and the festival runs midweek, from a Tuesday to a Thursday, which keeps it outside the Nepali weekend circuit entirely.

Pokhara sits on Phewa Lake with the Annapurna range directly behind it, and late November is the clearest month of the year in Nepal: the monsoon has long gone, the air is washed and the mountains are visible from dawn. The festival has built its programme around that setting rather than against it, and publishes an official after-film for each edition going back to 2018.

Tickets are sold through Aafno Ticket, the Nepali platform. Pokhara is a 25 minute flight from Kathmandu or six to seven hours by road, with its own international airport opened in 2023. Accommodation around the lakeside is plentiful and cheap by regional standards, which makes a midweek festival here more workable than it would be anywhere else. For a Himalayan music festival, fourteen editions is a remarkable run.
