Set against the centuries-old walls of the iconic Kastel Fortress in the heart of Banja Luka, Freshwave Festival 2026 returns from August 6 to 8 with three unforgettable days celebrating the meeting point of electronic music festival and regional live culture. Guided by this year’s “Enter the Nexus” concept, the festival once again transforms one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most historic landmarks into a vibrant open-air venue where contemporary production, immersive visuals and powerful performances create an atmosphere unlike any other in Southeast Europe. The 2026 edition brings together an impressive mix of internationally respected electronic artists including Recondite, Sébastien Léger, Sam Paganini, Patrice Bäumel, Denis Sulta, Fiona Kraft, Coeus and Mene, while the Live Stage expands the musical experience with acclaimed regional acts such as Buč Kesidi, Grše, Elemental, Let 3, Vojko V., Zoster and Z++.
