Electro Music Festival (Ladismith, South Africa) 2026

Electro Music Festival runs from 6 to 8 November 2026 at Karoo 62 Escape on Route 62 near Ladismith, three days on an off grid site in the Western Cape. Gates open at 1pm on the Friday and the festival closes at 6pm on the Sunday, with the whole thing staged against the Klein Karoo semi desert and the Swartberg mountains.

The programming runs across several electronic genres rather than committing to one, and the site is built around the shift from day to night. By day the dancefloors sit around a pool with the desert and mountain views behind them. After sunset the production takes over: full sound, lighting and decor, fire performances and drumming circles, with a Kinetic Stage and an SAB beer garden on site.

Labelled Inc. promote the event and tickets are sold through Quicket. Route 62 is the inland alternative to the coastal N2, one of the most scenic drives in South Africa, and Ladismith sits roughly four hours from Cape Town by road and two from George, which has the nearest airport. The festival is family friendly and the organisers publish directions on the ticket page. For a desert music festival in the Karoo, it is the one worth the drive.
