Decibel Open Air comes back to Florence on 4, 5 and 6 September 2026, and this time it sets up inside Parco delle Cascine, the green belt that runs along the Arno on the western edge of the city. The festival grew up in Florence and reached its fifth edition at the Visarno Arena in June 2019 before moving north to Bosco Albergati in the province of Modena in 2024, so 2026 reads as a homecoming. Saturday and Sunday run from 12:00 to midnight, with the gates closing to new arrivals at 23:30, while the official ticket listing puts the Friday opening day at 16:00. There is no age limit, although under 16s need a parent or an adult with written permission.

The bill splits between a live concert strand and a techno programme that fills the rest of the site. Paul Kalkbrenner leads the concerts alongside the Italian rappers Tedua and Capo Plaza and the producer Asco. The A to Z list runs through Adam Beyer, Blawan, DJ Nobu, Len Faki, Maceo Plex, Benny Benassi, Patrick Mason, Luca Agnelli, Indira Paganotto, Freddy K, Adiel, Alarico, Cera Khin, Elli Acula and Marie Montexier, with live sets from KiNK, Kangding Ray, Giorgia Angiuli, Reinier Zonneveld, Aerea and Mouth Water. Donato Dozzy and DVS1 both get four hour sets, the kind of slot that lets a set actually go somewhere.

Parco delle Cascine sits a few minutes from the centre on public transport, which makes this one of the rare cases where a large music festival puts the crowd within reach of a Renaissance city. Tickets come from the official site as day and weekend passes, with a group discount for five or more and a VIP tier that adds priority entry, stage access, a VIP village and dedicated toilets. Each ticket covers one entry per day: leave the site and you need a new one. Glass, cans, outside drinks, umbrellas, professional cameras, power banks and bags over 10 litres are turned away at the gate.
