Los Angeles doesn’t really get “just another festival weekend” when CORE shows up — and the 2026 debut feels very much like one of those moments the city is going to remember for a while.

On May 2–3, 2026, CORE Los Angeles takes over the open-air grounds of Los Angeles State Historic Park, right in the heart of LA’s skyline backdrop near Chinatown. The park is known for hosting large-scale cultural events, but this time it’s being reshaped into a full CORE universe in collaboration with Insomniac and the Tomorrowland team, marking the brand’s first-ever US edition after years of European and global appearances.

The concept stays true to CORE’s identity: a nature-inspired, surreal visual world combined with a strong focus on alternative house and techno. Instead of a traditional “stage-heavy festival layout,” the experience is built around an iconic sculptural CORE stage design and immersive production layers that react to the music in real time. The event runs as a two-day daytime-to-night journey, with doors opening around early afternoon and continuing into late evening sessions.

The 2026 lineup already reveals the tone: a mix of heavyweight electronic names and forward-facing selectors. Across the weekend you’ll find artists such as Eric Prydz, Four Tet, Nina Kraviz, Dixon, ARTBAT, Kevin de Vries, Honey Dijon, Mall Grab, TSHA, Hannah Laing, Krystal Klear, Mija, Mall Grab, Oscar and the Wolf, and many more spread across both days.

Rather than separating genres too sharply, CORE’s programming leans into contrast — melodic techno melting into deep groove-heavy house, then shifting into darker, more experimental electronic sets. The result is a continuously evolving atmosphere where sets feel interconnected instead of isolated moments.

Production is one of the strongest pillars of the event. Los Angeles State Historic Park will be fully transformed with large-scale visual installations, high-definition lighting design, and spatial sound systems aimed at creating an almost cinematic immersion inside the city. The open-air setting also plays a key role, with the LA skyline acting as a natural backdrop as daylight fades into night.
