BCrab Festival (Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh) 2027

BCrab returns to the Mermaid Beach Resort at Cox’s Bazar on 29 and 30 January 2027, a two day seaside celebration of music, art and wellbeing. Cox’s Bazar has the longest unbroken sea beach in the world at 120 kilometres, which is a setting no other festival anywhere can claim.

Crab Dreamer is the main stage, and the organisers describe it as where the festival’s heartbeat is loudest: local heroes and international headliners moving from soulful electronica at dusk into anthemic sets under the stars, with hands in the air and feet in the sand. The festival publishes a sustainability programme alongside the music.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site. Cox’s Bazar has its own airport with direct flights from Dhaka and Chittagong, and late January in Bangladesh is the cool dry season, around 26 degrees with no rain, which is by some distance the best time of year to be there. Bangladesh has very few international music festivals, which makes this one unusual. For a south Asian beach music festival, BCrab is opening ground nobody else has.
