About Barrakud Festival
Barrakud Festival returns to Zrce Beach on the island of Pag from 9 to 12 August 2027, running four days on the strip of Croatian coastline that has become the summer base for open air clubbing in the Adriatic. The festival has been staged there since 2012, with one edition moved to Corfu in 2014, and it is one of the longest running international events on Zrce.
The format uses the beach clubs that line the bay rather than building a separate arena, which means the festival effectively takes over the whole strip for the duration: day parties on the sand, boat trips on the Adriatic and club programming running through the night. The bill covers house, techno and bass music, with the organisers publishing it in stages through the spring.
Tickets went on sale ahead of the 2027 line up through the official site, with further information to follow. Zrce sits just outside Novalja on Pag, reached by road across the Pag bridge or by ferry from the mainland, with Zadar and Rijeka the nearest airports. Accommodation on the island books out across August, so booking alongside the ticket is sensible. It is a Croatian beach music festival with more history than most on the strip.
