As September approaches, Kaunas once again prepares to surrender its streets, industrial spaces and hidden corners to AUDRA Festival, taking place from September 3–6, 2026, as a four-day celebration of contemporary city culture and electronic music. Rather than being confined to a single music festival ground, AUDRA spreads throughout Lithuania’s second city, transforming distinctive urban locations into temporary stages and cultural meeting points. The 2026 programme brings together internationally respected underground names including Chez Damier, Chloé Caillet, Francesco Del Garda, Saoirse, SPFDJ, MCR-T, Kikelomo, DJ JM, ba. Live, Marta, Free Finga and the powerful live collaboration of Tikiman x Richard Akingbehim, alongside a broad selection of Lithuanian artists and local collectives. The festival’s programming moves fluidly between house, techno, electro, experimental electronics and contemporary live music, reflecting AUDRA’s long-standing connection with Kaunas’ independent creative scene. Last year’s edition demonstrated the festival’s ability to merge global electronic culture with local artistic identity, featuring artists such as Shanti Celeste and the ambitious 808 Orchestra project, which brought electronic classics to life through a large ensemble of Lithuanian musicians. In 2026, that same spirit returns on an even wider urban canvas, with music running from late-night club sessions into the early hours while exhibitions, performances and other cultural projects add further layers to the experience. By turning familiar parts of Kaunas into unexpected cultural spaces, AUDRA Festival 2026 offers something considerably more immersive than a conventional electronic music gathering, creating a city-wide encounter where sound, contemporary art, architecture and nightlife become part of the same constantly shifting experience.
