About Klymax Discotheque

Klymax Discotheque is a nightclub inside Desa Potato Head on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, Bali, run by the Potato Head group. It was designed with DJ Harvey, and its sound system was custom built to his specifications by audio engineer George Stavro, following the classic disco blueprint of 1970s New York clubs, with speaker stacks in the four corners of the room. The interior, by Potato Head Design Studio with the Dutch architects OMA, is acoustically treated and has a sprung wooden dancefloor and a floating DJ booth. The room holds 450 people. Friday club nights mix international guests with residents Seabass, Dita, Gero, Archie and bagvs across house, techno, disco and Balearic music, and during the week the space also hosts listening sessions and film screenings.

Strictly 21+, and security may ask for valid ID. There is no dress code and sandals are allowed. Flash photography and video are not allowed, and bags or backpacks go into free storage at reception.
