The Sónar festival takes place for the 7th time at its traditional venue, Zorlu PSM, on April 28th, 29th and 30th.
Sónar unveiled all the artists and stages in the three-day non-stop experience that reunites music, creativity and technology. The schedule and program will take place on five different stages this year: SonarClub, SonarLab, SonarHall, SonarScreen and SonarVillage. While SonarClub and SonarVillage spread throughout the festival days; SonarLab, SonarHall and SonarScreen will be in the action just for the first two days.
SonarClub will guest Richie Hawtin, VTSS, Bicep, ANNA, Blawan, Max Cooper, KAS:ST, Goose, Maya Jane Coles and David August, while SonarLab stage will be performed by Murat Uncuoğlu, TSHA, Objekt, Or:la, Sofia Kourtesis and will host Carlita with DJ Tennis’s joint project Astra Club.
At SonarHall, the fans will have the oppurtunity to witness the performances of Clark, Tupac Martir, RAW, Dirgen & Karisman, Synspecies and Lyrca Pramuk Echoluminescence.
SonarScreen program will be aroused by the artists as Character, Motus Lumina, TKO, Carbone Black, DI, Koi Failure, Akkor, Onar, Granul, Amir Ahmadoghlu and Hiccup.
The Sónar festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The Istanbul pillar of the Barcelona-based festival will be Sónar’s second organization happened in 2023. This year, for the first time, Sónar Lisbon held its second meeting recently. Sónar’s 30th anniversary celebrations in his homeland of Barcelona will be held on 15th, 16th and 17th of June.
The traditional open call of Sónar+D Istanbul 2023 has been announced recently. Those who want to participate can send a 30-second demo of their work to email@example.com until April 24th.
