Short, sharp and very melodic. This Is MRAK is Spotify’s essential-tracks collection for MRAK, a compact look at his work.

“Nobody – Extended Mix” with Asal and “Reserva” with 19:26 are anchors, while “Yamore – Mrak & Armonica Remix” reworks Salif Keita with help from Cesária Evora and others. braev, Omnya and Aimée Sophia also appear. Together they show a producer who is happy to cross genres and mix in guest voices.

It is melodic, organic-leaning and suited to sunset sessions and relaxed drives. The playlist holds 18 tracks running 1 hour 18 minutes, making it a quick but satisfying listen. It is short enough to finish in one go, so it works well for a quick evening workout, a commute or an introduction to his sound.
