Paul Kalkbrenner – Official Playlist Playlist on Spotify

Few names carry more weight in melodic electronica than Paul Kalkbrenner, and the Paul Kalkbrenner – Official Playlist comes straight from his own Spotify account. It works as his personal best-of.

The description points to singles such as “Part Eight” and “Part Three”, along with tracks from his albums. Listeners will find “Schwer”, “Cloud Rider – Radio Edit”, “Dockyard” and “Eyes Open”, plus appearances from Simina Grigoriu and NTO.

The music is warm, driving and melancholic, that suits night drives, sunrise sets and focused evenings at home. The playlist features 40 tracks across 3 hours 25 minutes. It also suits quiet evenings, long drives and sunrise listening, when the slow-building arrangements have time to develop, and it is a natural starting point for anyone exploring his catalogue.

Berlin nights, told in long melodies.
