This Is Carl Craig Playlist on Spotify

An experimental edge, from a producer who never stood still. This Is Carl Craig is Spotify’s essential-tracks playlist for Carl Craig, a wide-ranging collection.

It includes “Meditation Five”, “So What” with Green Velvet, and “Angel – Jerome Sydenham Vocal Dub”. Orchestral projects appear too, like “The Melody – Henrik Schwarz Remix” featuring Francesco Tristano and Les Siècles. Moritz Von Oswald, Maurice Ravel and the Berliner Philharmoniker add to the unusual mix. Green Velvet and Les Siècles are there to prove how far the range goes.

Many tracks run seven to nine minutes, so treat this as a patient, headphones-friendly journey through deep, inventive electronic music. It suits focused work, late-night listening and after-hours sessions. Fifty tracks, 5 hours 43 minutes. It is more of a slow-burn listening experience than a peak-time rush, so keep it for evenings at home, study hours or a slow build into the night.

Experimental, orchestral, endlessly curious.
