About The Mustache Bash
The Mustache Bash is a 1970s themed disco and funk day festival in San Diego, California. The 2027 edition is set for Saturday, March 27, 2027, and the organisers say it will be the 18th year of the event. Its style is vintage: bell bottoms, disco balls, mustaches and a day long party that runs from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The event began as a backyard house party and has grown into what the organisers call the definitive funk fest of Southern California. The most recent edition was held at Mariner’s Point Park on Mission Bay, with a Fire Stage on the beach, the first Stache-N-Fashion Show and a closing set by Danilo Plessow. The 2027 location has not been confirmed on the sources we could access.
The music is built around the sounds of the 1970s with a modern view: disco, funk, soul and boogie, from live bands such as the Mustache Bash Family Band to DJs and touring acts. Past performers named by the organisers include Lee Fields, Greyboy Allstars, Yung Bae, Yuksek and The Floozies. No 2027 line-up has been announced, so no names are listed here.
Tickets are sold through the official site, with prices increasing in tiers as they sell, and all sales are final. The Mustache Bash is a strictly 21 and over event with photo ID required, rain or shine, with no re-entry. Small bags are permitted, backpacks are not, and the venue is smoke free. The organisers also run a Bash in San Francisco, listed separately on the site.
