Qstock (Oulu, Finland) 2027

Qstock returns to Oulu on 30 and 31 July 2027, taking over the Kuusisaari island and Raatti area on the river at the edge of the city centre. It is the largest music festival in northern Finland and has run on the last weekend of July for two decades, programming Finnish rock, pop and rap alongside international electronic headliners across several stages.

The 2026 edition sold out and drew 40,000 people across two days, which the organisers called their smoothest run to date despite rain on both days. Feedback from that edition was collected through a public visitor survey, something Qstock does annually and uses to shape the following year. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing.

Tickets are sold through the festival site and Ticketmaster Finland, usually in tiered releases that start before any names are confirmed. Oulu sits on the Gulf of Bothnia around 600 kilometres north of Helsinki, with direct flights from the capital in an hour and overnight trains running through the summer. In late July the sun barely sets at this latitude, which changes the feel of a festival that runs into the small hours. It is the northern Finnish music festival worth planning around.
