Hullabaloo Festival (Groningen, Netherlands) 2027

Hullabaloo Festival returns to the Stadspark in Groningen on 4 and 5 September 2027, running two days in the municipal park south west of the city centre. The organisers call it the festival of the north, which is accurate: it is the largest electronic weekender in the northern Netherlands and draws heavily on Groningen’s student population and the club scene around it.

The name is the premise. Hullabaloo means uproar, and the organisers describe the festival as a world where complete chaos resolves into a shared love of music. In practice that means multiple stages across the park with distinct identities, running house, techno and bass across both days. The 2026 edition sold out entirely, with the Saturday going first.

Pre registration for 2027 opened on the official site, giving first access to tickets and headliner announcements ahead of the general sale. The Stadspark marked its centenary in 2026 and hosts the festival alongside other city events. Groningen is around two hours north of Amsterdam by direct train and has its own airport at Eelde. The 2027 bill had not been published at the time of writing. For the north of the Netherlands, it is the music festival of the year.
