About House in the Park
House in the Park returns to Atlanta on Sunday 5 September 2027, running from midday to 8pm on the Labor Day weekend. The event has been staged every year since 2005 and has become one of the defining house music gatherings in the American south, built on the city’s long relationship with the sound and a crowd that returns across generations.
The format is a single day, outdoors, with the emphasis on dancing rather than production. Tickets run in several tiers: general admission, hospitality, a VIP tent and premium packages, with holders of the Atlanta Weekender Pass covered automatically. A limited number of tickets are released on the day, though the organisers strongly advise buying in advance.
It is a rain or shine event and all ticket sales are final, which the organisers state clearly. The official site carries a full gallery running back to the 2005 edition, alongside travel, parking and vendor information. Atlanta is served by Hartsfield-Jackson, the busiest airport in the world, with MARTA connecting it to the centre in 20 minutes. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For house music in the United States, it is a music festival with real lineage.
