Venoge Festival (Penthaz, Switzerland) 2027

Venoge Festival returns to Penthaz from 18 to 21 August 2027, running the largest open air event in the Lausanne region across four days in the Vaud countryside. The 2026 edition marked 30 years and drew 75,000 people over five days, with more than 40 concerts and over 1,500 volunteers, which gives a sense of the scale of a festival staged by a local association rather than a commercial promoter.

Programming is unusually broad. The organisers split the bill across urban, electro, pop, chanson, revival, rock and family strands, which means a single weekend can run from David Guetta and Mosimann through to Damso, PLK, Riles, Suzane and Synapson, as the 2026 edition did. A family day sits inside the programme rather than off to one side.

The site runs a cashless system with a refund window announced after the festival, and the organisers publish practical information, mobility advice and a festival app ahead of the gates opening. Penthaz sits around 20 minutes north of Lausanne by road, close to Cossonay on the Lausanne to Yverdon railway, and Geneva airport is an hour away. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing. For French speaking Switzerland, it is the music festival with the widest reach.
