Quebec City will close out the summer with a major burst of EDM energy as Unity Electro Fest returns to Marché Jean-Talon in Charlesbourg from September 4–6, 2026, celebrating its fifth anniversary with its biggest edition yet. Across three days, the music festival will bring international headliners and Canadian talent together for a high-impact programme led by Tiësto, Illenium and Timmy Trumpet, with each superstar taking the headline position on a different night. Tiësto opens the weekend on Friday, September 4, joined by Fedde Le Grand, Gravagerz, Ghetto Birds, Laura Scavo and other local and international performers, while Saturday moves into a more melodic and bass-driven territory with Illenium, Adventure Club, NGHTMRE, Sam Lamar B2B Filthy, Humansion, Khaos and Deroz. Sunday closes the celebration with Timmy Trumpet alongside Vini Vici, Mike Demero, Domeno, Lucky Rose, Layout and DJ Mika, creating a final day built around energetic festival EDM and big-room sounds. Unity Electro Fest describes itself as Quebec City’s first EDM festival, and its fifth anniversary edition is designed to raise the production level with an upgraded main stage, two new technical towers combining lighting and sound, and enhanced visual elements. The festival has steadily developed since its launch in 2022, with previous editions welcoming internationally recognised artists such as Marshmello, Benny Benassi, KSHMR, Afrojack, Meduza, James Hype, Bob Sinclar, DVBBS, Morten, Tita Lau, Twinsick and Deorro. The 2026 edition continues that international direction while maintaining a strong commitment to Quebec’s own electronic scene, giving local and provincial DJs prominent slots alongside global names. The Marché Jean-Talon setting in Charlesbourg provides the festival with a dedicated outdoor environment close to the centre of Quebec City, allowing the three-day celebration to combine large-scale EDM production with a distinctly local atmosphere.
