Multiverso Ritual (Calca (Sacred Valley), Peru) 2027

Multiverso Ritual returns to Calca in the Sacred Valley of the Incas from 23 to 25 July 2027 under the banner Infernal Loop, a three day psychedelic trance gathering staged in the Peruvian Andes north of Cusco. The event runs continuously from Friday night to Sunday afternoon and sits at roughly 2,900 metres above sea level, which is high enough that organisers advise arriving in the region a day or two early to acclimatise.

Programming covers the harder and more experimental end of the psytrance spectrum: psytech, old school Goa trance, dark progressive, forest, darkpsy, hitech, psycore and slambient, with ambient and downtempo filling the daylight hours. The 2027 theme is built around an infernal loop, a run of high frequency sets intended to be taken as a single continuous experience rather than a series of separate shows. Decor, lighting and visual work play as large a role as the bookings.

Calca sits about an hour by road from Cusco in the valley of the Urubamba river, surrounded by terraced Inca sites and peaks that rise above 5,000 metres. The setting is a large part of the draw and the organisers lean on it, pitching the weekend as a gathering rather than a conventional festival.
