Masters of Puppets Festival (Valec, Czech Republic) 2027

Masters of Puppets Festival runs for a full week in Valec v Cechach, from 5 to 11 July 2027, holding its place as one of the main gatherings for the darker and faster end of psytrance. The programme covers dark psy, hi-tech, psycore and experimental electronic music across three stages, with more than 250 artists booked across the seven days.

The stages carry their own identities: the Rage Stage handles the hardest material, while the Kodama and Lunatica stages cover the rest of the spectrum. Visual mapping runs across the structures after dark, and the site adds an art gallery, an academy programme of workshops, a space food market and an artisan alley, so the daytime schedule is as full as the night.

The address is Siroka 39 in Valec, a village in the Karlovy Vary region of western Bohemia, roughly two hours by road from Prague and under an hour from Karlovy Vary itself. Tickets are sold through Tickettailor and the festival runs an ambassador scheme for people selling within their own networks. The 2027 line-up has not been fully announced, and a week long music festival at this price point tends to sell its early tiers long before the first names land.
