Mácháč Festival (Doksy, Czech Republic) 2027

Machac returns to the Klucek beach on Lake Macha from 13 August 2027, with the organisers listing the event through to 15 August and doors opening at 3pm on the first day. The lake, properly Machovo jezero, sits in the Doksy area of northern Bohemia and has been the festival’s home for most of its run, with the stages built directly onto the sand and the water behind them.

The booking covers house, techno and the more commercial end of electronic dance music, and Machac has been one of the longest standing Czech summer festivals, with official aftermovies on its own channel reaching back to 2016. The 2026 edition brought in Golpe among others, with recordings published after the event.

Ticketing runs through NFCtron, which also handles cashless payment on site through a chip linked to the ticket and a mobile app for topping up and refunds. Doksy sits around 80 kilometres north of Prague, close to the Machuv kraj protected landscape area, and the lake is a holiday destination in its own right, so accommodation in the area books out across August. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing. For a lakeside Czech music festival, it is the established name.
