Flow Festival (Helsinki, Finland) 2027

Flow Festival returns to Suvilahti from 13 to 15 August 2027, taking over the former power plant site in eastern Helsinki for three days of music, art and city culture. Suvilahti is a decommissioned industrial complex of gasometers, brick halls and open yards, and Flow has used it since 2007 to build a festival that treats design, food and visual art as central rather than decorative.

The electronic programme runs across several dedicated areas. The X Garden carries club energy, the Heineken Backyard brings in club music bookings, Balloon 360 is built inside one of the old gasometers and The Other Sound gathers experimental and left field work. Alongside the music, Flow Talks runs a discussion programme and Family Sunday brings arts, crafts and dance for children.

Super early bird tickets for 2027 went on sale immediately after the 2026 edition, with early bird tiers following, all sold through the festival’s own shop. Food is a stated priority: the organisers run a sustainable food competition and publish restaurant line ups alongside the music. Suvilahti is around 15 minutes from Helsinki central station by tram or metro to Kalasatama. The 2027 bill had not been published at the time of writing. It is the Nordic music festival with the strongest design identity.
