About Electric Spring Festival
Electric Spring returns to The Broadside in New Orleans on 2 and 3 April 2027, a two day festival of electronic music, DJs, art and dance. The Broadside is an open air venue on Broad Street in Mid-City, converted from a drive-in cinema site, which gives the festival a walled outdoor space inside the city.
New Orleans is not where the American electronic calendar usually goes, and that is Electric Spring’s opening: a city with one of the deepest live music cultures in the country and very little in the way of a dedicated electronic festival until now.
The line up and tickets are announced through the festival’s own site, which also carries a hotel programme. Louis Armstrong International is 25 minutes from Mid-City and the Canal Street streetcar runs close to the venue. Early April in New Orleans is warm at around 25 degrees before the summer humidity sets in, which makes it the best window in the year for an outdoor event. For a Louisiana electronic music festival, Electric Spring is the one to watch.
