About Alchemy Festival Cyprus Edition
Alchemy Festival brings its Cyprus edition to the Tamassos Dam outside Nicosia from 2 to 4 April 2027, starting at 19:00 on the Friday. Rasasastra Records present it, and the programming is specific: forest, twilight and darkpsy rather than the broader psytrance spectrum.
That narrow focus is what gives the festival its audience. Forest and darkpsy have their own international circuit, largely separate from the main psytrance festivals, and Cyprus has become a useful waypoint on it between Europe and the Middle East.
Tickets are sold through the Rasasastra Records site. The Tamassos Dam sits in the hills south west of Nicosia, around 30 minutes from the capital and an hour from Larnaca airport, which takes flights from across Europe and the Gulf. Early April in Cyprus is warm at around 22 degrees in the day and cool enough at night for the dam site to need a jacket. For a Cypriot psytrance music festival, Alchemy is the specialist date.
