AERO Festival (Belp, Switzerland) 2027

AERO Festival returns to Bern-Belp airport on 25 and 26 June 2027, two days of electronic music staged on the apron of Switzerland’s capital city airfield. The event runs under the line Love Peace Rave and uses the working airport as its backdrop, with stages built against hangars and the Bernese Alps visible to the south.

The format is a day and night festival across both dates rather than a camping weekender, which keeps the audience largely Swiss and regional. Programming leans towards mainstage electronic music and house, with Swiss DJs filling the earlier slots and touring names taking the headline positions. The 2026 edition ran through a heatwave across both days and the organisers have since locked the same late June weekend for 2027.

Belp sits around ten kilometres south of Bern and is served by the S-Bahn line from the city, with Belp station a short distance from the airport, so most of the audience travels by rail rather than parking on site. Bern itself is under two hours from Zurich and about 90 minutes from Geneva, which puts the festival within a day return of most of the Swiss Mittelland. The 2027 lineup had not been announced at the time of writing; the festival publishes it through its own site and Instagram. Other Swiss dates are listed on our music festival page.
