Coone first started producing in 1998 at age 15. He released his first EP in 2002, “Protect The Innocent”. Under the pseudonym “The Artist Also Known As”, he broke out into the scene with “Eating Donuts”, a remix of “Song 2” by Blur. In 2006, he initiated his very first label Dirty Workz, which released Jump and Hardstyle music – but since 2015 has taken a more background role in the operation of the label, which is now primarily based around Hardstyle. In addition, he has been featured in DJ MAG’s Top 100 DJ’s with his first entry at #41 in 2011.

In the passing few years, Coone has worked with many leading artists, and in 2014 co-signed with Dim Mak Records (Steve Aoki’s label) for upcoming music, in co-operation with Dirty Workz.

Without a doubt, Coone lives and breathes Hardstyle. His passion is shared by thousands of like-minded souls all over the world, each speaking a universal language. Music. A binding force uniting us all. As the hard dance headliner for Ultra Australia, Coone is predicted to bring his high octant set to Melbourne and draw a big crowd.

Afrojack

Now out of lockdown and catapulting himself back onto the international mainstages with a full US tour imminent and plenty of big dates beyond, Afrojack definitely has a lot to celebrate. Armed with yet more major league productions such as ‘All Night Long’ (with Azteck) and now the humungous ‘Anywhere With You’ (with Dubvision and Lucas & Steve) he’s fully back, refreshed and eager to remind us why he’s been one of the most consistent DJs in this poll in the last 10 years.

Marked his return to Ultra Australia, Afrojack reunite with the stage this year and treated fans to his signature sound. Kicked off the show, he performed and extended set for 2 hours and was expected to draw a large crowd of techno enthusiasts.

Alesso

Alesso is renowned for his methods of utilizing melodic vibes in his productions along which he also alternates between his rave oriented productions. Productions include “Clash” and “Tear the Roof Up” fit with his graveled rave style, while his other melodically rich counterpart include productions such as “Years” (featuring Matthew Koma), “Heroes” (featuring Tove Lo), and his collaboration with Dirty South and Ruben Haze – “City of Dreams”. Some considered him to be the next generation in Swedish music after Swedish House Mafia and Avicii.

His songs aren’t just for the dance floor. Alesso topped charts all over the world. ‘Cool’ and ‘I Want to Know’ were downloaded by hundreds of people and became the most played songs on the radio. He’s worked with some of the biggest names on his music, like Calvin Harris, another DJ, and hit big hits like ‘Under Control’. Even if you are under the sea, if you live under a rock, you could not experience the famous Swedish Tove Lo and the famous “Heroes” of 2014.

As a strong producer as well as a DJ the future looks bright. Having already spun sets to a variety of crowds, on a backdrop of different skylines on various stages across the world, this is a man who is destined for greatness. For Alesso it’s his fans who motivate and inspire him to keep on producing hit after hit. Pursuing his passion for music is inbuilt, a way of life, which means that exciting times are ahead.

With residencies at the world’s most iconic clubs, Alesso made his way down under for a headline performance at Ultra Australia. Given the honour of closing the festival, Alesso is OZ EDM’s most anticipated performance for Ultra Australia this year and our team will no doubt be singing with you all in the crowd. Expected a big crowd, tons of positive vibes, catchy melodies, singalongs and just pure nostalgic progressive house.
