Chronologically, we compile the events that attract attention and expected throughout the month for fans and share the significant notifications with the public, such as line-ups, ticket fees etc. For more, please follow our website and stay tuned for the updates. jul1KAPPA FUTUR FESTIVAL

(1 – 2 July, Turin, Italy)

Kappa Futur Festival is back for its 10th edition. The 10th edition will be their most ambitious event yet with top class production, an un-beatable line up and lots of special celebrations for the 10th birthday

The first wave of artists confirmed to take the stage with lots more to be announced, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most expansive and impressive line-ups to date.

Returning again for 3 days, the festival kicks off Friday 30 June with a whole host of top DJ talent. Highlights include Italian duo Tale Of Us presenting their much hyped Afterlife stage, plus the long-awaited return of Black Coffee and Major Lazer who last played the festival in 2015. Major Lazer goes B2B with Major League for an unmissable set plus making their festival debut and Swedish House Mafia hit the stage with a very special techno set, exclusively for Kappa Futur Festival.

jul5  FAMILY PIKNIK

(5- 6 July, Parking du Stade Lucien Jean, France)

Family Piknik is an electronic music festival held each summer in the French city of Montpellier. Firmly focused on the finest in house and techno, the longstanding favourite has welcomed stalwarts of the scene to the South of France over the last decade.

Family Piknik Weekend will take place in Frontignan on 5 & 6 August at the Lucien Jean outdoor space (20 minutes from Montpellier, a few steps from the SNCF station and a few minutes from the beach). Two days of open-air celebration around the best House, Techno, Deep, Indie, Micro with Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, ANNA, Popof x Space 92 and many others to be announced soon.

Space, open air, greenery, trees and everything that makes the charm of the Family Piknik concept to experience an exceptional festive weekend with the best of the international electronic scene!

jul6NOISILY FESTIVAL

(6- 9 July, Leicester, UK)

Noisily Festival is an electronic music and arts festival inside Leicestershire’s intimate Coney Woods, each year curating a weekend of hedonism and escapism in the company of musicians, artists, performers and dancers.

Jump into this wild woodland wonderland and find a musical lineup that ranges from bassline to psytrance via house and techno, all showcased amongst innovative art installations, immersive workshops, surreal visuals, and quirky bars and stages.

Noisily Festival doesn’t take itself too seriously, and neither do the 4,000 people who descend on The Coney Woods each July. It’s fun in all its forms, pure and unadulterated. Offering an alternative to mainstream festival culture, an inclusive haven where underground music thrives and self expression flourishes.

jul7ULTRA EUROPE

(7- 9 July, Split, Croatia)

Ultra Europe returns in July 2023, once again taking over the Croatian city of Split for another week of EDM, house, techno and trance parties.

The main festival takes place inside Split’s Mladeži park, performing under Ultra’s characteristic production, featuring almighty firework displays, smoke cannons and more. Previous lineups have included Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and The Chainsmokers.

Beyond the park, Ultra Europe also hosts a selection of other parties in what is known as Destination Ultra, including Ultra Beach on the island of Hvar, a Regatta beach party on Brač and a number of parties hosted by Resistance inside beach clubs and fortresses.

jul7 AWAKENINGS SUMMER FESTIVAL

(7- 9 July, Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands)

Awakenings Summer Festival will be returning in July 2023 to Hilvarenbeek for a three-day techno festival.

Awakenings Summer Festival will host no less than nine areas, both outdoor stages as well as tents, all in the usual Awakenings style with top-quality stage design and immersive light shows. On Friday and Saturday, the programming will extend into the night.

Awakenings Spring Festival will take place from 13 – 14 May, in the well known Spaarnwoude Houtrak just outside Amsterdam.

jul8NEWSAM PARK FESTIVAL

(8 July, Leeds, UK)

Newsam Park is a Leeds house and techno music festival. Brought to you by the people behind the legendary Cocoon in the Park that ended after 11 editions in 2019, this is the rebirth.

Cocoon is the label and event company founded by German techno heavy-weight Sven Väth and has become one of the most sought-after imprints in Europe.

Hosting festivals and events around the continent, they’ve come to be known for their in-the-know lineups of top tier DJs and epic party atmospheres.

Newsam Park promises to be a fresh take on the festival experience, with some of the hottest national and international talent on the bill and state of the art stage production.

(8-9 July, Paris, France)

Peacock Society Festival is one of France’s best-loved electronic music events, a festival that regularly welcomes the finest names in underground house and techno to the French capital for an unforgettable weekend.

(9 July, Cologne, Germany)

PollerWiesen Boot is an exceptional 7 hours daytime festival cruise along the Rhine on the MS RheinEnergie, Europe’s biggest event-ship. Amidst long container ships, lush green meadows and breathtaking industry, the warm summer breeze starts blowing your mind.

The MS RheinEnergie has a 2000qm effective surface which makes it the biggest event-ship in europe. With it’s in- and outdoor area the PollerWiesen boat is forearmed to any weather. Of course the boat also sets sail and ships down the Rhein, one of Germany’s biggest rivers.

Formulating their inimitable expertise from the underground raves in the 90s, PollerWiesen has successfully gathered decades of experience in curating some of Europe’s finest raves, and now sits on a techno-party pedestal because of it.

Airbeat One Festival one of Europe’s most popular electronic music festivals. In 2023 the festival celebrates it’s 20 years anniversary, and it will bring the Airfield Neustadt-Glewe, in the edition Home, to shake!

Get ready for a unique festival with elaborately designed stages and the best DJs in the scene. With 5 different stages, there is something for every musical taste and on 3 party days, everyone will surely get their money’s worth. After its initial success in 2014, Sea You Festival (Beach Republic) continues to sell out each year, drawing ravers from all around the world to its undeniably scenic lakeside location in Tunisee, with seven stages again featuring some of the scene’s foremost house and techno talents.

(20-27 July, Tisno, Croatia)

SuncéBeat Festival is a Croatian house and disco music festival, held each summer inside the stunning Garden Resort in the coastal town of Tisno.

jul21JUNCTION 2 FESTIVAL

(21-22 July, London, UK)

Junction 2 Festival is back in London in July 2023 for another weekend of techno as it takes over the capital’s Boston Manor Park. Junction 2 promises to come back stronger than ever in 2023 as it once again demonstrates why it’s a key weekend in the UK’s techno calendar.

Its name originates from its setting, quite literally underneath a motorway, but the industrial-cum-park setting is the perfect accompaniment to Junction 2’s gritty, but alternative, sound.

On Friday the festival begins with a varied bill that builds bridges between UK-focused strains of techno, bass and house and the classic sounds that have come before it, featuring a number of highly anticipated B2B sets.

Saturday presents a more streamlined display of artists, with particular focus on the realms of techno, minimal and tech-house. It also continues Friday’s theme of collaboration, with a number of inspired B2Bs between some of electronic music’s most prominent and respected DJs.

(21-23 July, Weeze, Germany)

PAROOKAVILLE is the biggest electronic music festival in Germany, which creates a city ruled by madness, love and pure happiness, alongside some of dance music’s biggest artists. The festival takes place on the site of Weeze Airport in the north west of Germany, close to the border with the Netherlands.

Parookaville is a city that comes to life once a year, to keep the legend of Bill Parooka alive. It was built as an artistic, free flowing and mad musical place, where people can make contact with their pure selves, experience true connections and feel deep sensation of bliss and fulfillment.

The festival is bursting with creativity, from spectacular stage design, down to the smaller details, like the PAROOKAVILLE Post newspaper and passports for each of its citizens.

Musically, each area of the ad hoc town, hosts its own flavour of electronic music, with stages covering techno, hardstyle, bass and more, to accompany the House and EDM that is predominant on the breathtaking main stage.

jul21SUNRISE FESTIVAL

(21-24 July, Kolobrzeg, Poland)

Sunrise Festival is an Electronic Music Festival, taking place at the former airport near Kołobrzeg. From year to year, the event spread its wings to finally become one of the largest EDM festivals in Central and Eastern Europe.

As many as 5 powerful stages will be created, featuring over 100 artists from Poland and abroad. During this year’s festival edition, you will hear almost all genres of electronic music: house, trance, techno, progressive, bass, future, hardstyle, electro and that’s why everyone will surely find something for themselves.

The festival town called SunCity will be a complete novelty. It is an area with campsites of various standards and premium VIP houses. Club members will find there not only rich gastronomic, sanitary and chill out zones, but also a lot of attractions.

jul23LOVE FAMILY PARK

(23 July, Frankfurt, Germany)

Love Family Park Festival is an electronic and techno music festival. In 2023 the festival will take place in a brand new location, at Frankfurt’s Rebstockpark.

Rolling from day deep into the night, Love Family Park offers up a plethora of electronic music’s artisans from stalwarts like Ricardo Villalobos and Adam Beyer playing in recent years, to showcasing the up-and-coming game-changers.

Ravers are treated to a broad array of sounds ranging from minimal and tech-house, to the straight-up hard-hitting techno for the purists. Lovers of the genre travel from across the continent to the festival with resident Sven ‘Papa’ Väth returning to headline each year, so for those with techno tendencies it’s a no-brainer.

jul23PAUL KALKBRENNER BERLIN

(23 July, Berlin, Germany)

Paul Kalkbrenner will give one of the biggest concert of his career, an open-air show of epic scale, in Berlin’s Parkbühne Wuhlheide on Sunday 23 July.

A techno talent, who over the course of two decades has emerged from the underground, to top charts, act in and soundtrack a movie, headline festivals and amass millions of fans, all while refusing to compromise his grand techno sound.

With a catalog that now includes eight albums, over 137 individual tracks and numerous remixes, Paul Kalkbrenner is one of the unique electronic artists, who can deliver the ebb and flow of a dancefloor journey using only his own music. His transcendent live performances have seen Paul break down traditional electronic music barriers, headlining festival and arena stages typically reserved for rockstars.

(29 July, Huesca, Spain)

Monegros Desert Festival returns, celebrating none other, than its thirty years of existence on 29 July 2023. A 30th anniversary that promises to be unforgettable. Once known as Groove Parade, and held each summer in the eponymous desert of northeastern Spain, over a number of years Monegros Desert Festival became a firm favourite of dance music fans across the country, and beyond.

A true major player in the world of electronic music festivals, lineups over the years featured an array of the scene’s most popular proponents and influential figures, from Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and Underworld to Loco Dice, Skrillex, Skream and more.

(29 – 30 July, Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Milkshake Festival is a multi-genre music festival taking place in Amsterdam. Heading into its ninth edition, the festival has grown into a favourite of the Dutch capital.
