Defected Ibiza

(1 May – 2 May, Amnesia, Ibiza, Spain)

Four days and nights of raving, heart-pounding house, Defected Records takes over some iconic Ibiza venues for an unforgettable weekend dance affair.

Showcasing one-hundred percent House music, from the classic to the modern, Defected is known for its inclusive vibe and affordable prices. The party has been an island-favourite for decades!

This amazing music festival will finish with a huge Defected Closing Party at our Terrace on May 1st with dance and house tracks from Ferreck Dawn, Mambo Brothers, Dunmore Brothers, Melé and more surprise guests.


Hai in den Mai

(5 May – 8 May, Stemwede, Germany)

Waldfrieden Events opens the gates to invite every psychedelic enthusiast to its Open Air Festival, the annual start in Germany of the Open Air Trance Season.

For three days and two nights, 5000 music lovers from all over Germany and the surrounding countries, can enjoy electronic beats in a beautiful mountainous location between the trees

The very large and lavishly decorated outdoor main floor is located in the middle of a fairytale forest clearing and is the centre of the festival. The second, so-called Backyard Floor, is located next to the “Waldfrieden Haus” and offers space for electronic alternative music during the day, like Electro, Techno, Deephouse and more.


Time Warp Brasil

(6 May – 8 May, Santana, Brasil)

Time Warp is back in São Paulo for its third edition in Brazil. This will feature audiovisuals and pure house and techno that have been part of Time Warp DNA since 1994.

One of the brightest stars in the techno world for over 25 years, this celebration now returns to São Paulo, after its debut in 2018.

Back for two days at the Anhembi Sambadrome, music, dance and technology collide with the classic design of the Time Warp stages and the usual high quality sound systems that accompany some of the biggest names on the house and techno circuit.


Music On

(7 May – 8 May, Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Music On is a house and techno music festival held in the Dutch capital Amsterdam. After having to cancel their 2020 and 2021 editions, the festival returns in 2022 promising to make up for lost time.

Now one of the most respected festivals within the genre, Music On curate an exciting array of electronic, house and techno stars, with the lineup including founder Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice and many more.

Alongside these electronic music staples, Music On also brings together an enviable selection of some of the scene’s hottest new talent, giving dance fans a unique insight into the sounds of tomorrow.


Transition Festival

(10 May – 17 May, Almonte, Spain)

Transition Festival is a psychedelic trance music festival, held each Spring in Andalusia, southern Spain, in the scenic Doñana National Park.

More than just a music festival, the organisers describe the event as “seven days and seven nights of magic, nature, psychedelia and transformation”, with the week-long event organised to coincide with the full moon and festival-goers invited to join together for a magical experience.

Musically, the lineup of Transition Festival, will feature a selection of psytrance favourites from across Spain, and from further afield, all accompanied by the characteristically colourful and intricate decoration and visuals that are synonymous with the genre.


The Great Escape

(11 May – 14 May, Brighton, United Kingdom)

The Great Escape returns to Brighton in May 2022 to once again showcase the best in the UK’s underground music scene.

Curating a lineup filled with unsigned and underground artists from across the genre spectrum, The Great Escape is the perfect chance for astute music fans to keep their finger on the pulse of the changing musical landscape and hear the best new talent before anyone else.

In addition to its lineup of rock, indie, hip-hop, grime and electronic starlets, The Great Escape also programmes a series of conferences and conventions with key industry figures, such as brands and labels.

The festival takes over Brighton for the weekend, as venues across the city play host to events of all sizes, in dedicated venues such as the iconic Brighton Dome, pubs and bars, and pop-up stages across the city streets.


Fuse Matiné: Mind Against

(14 May, Lisboa, Portugal)

May is the month of spring, of pilgrimages and celebrations since immemorial times. Now that the sun comes out of the clouds and the temperature becomes milder, we also undertake a pilgrimage of our own. On the 14th, Lx Factory is the place of worship where life, music, and arts are celebrated, and the duo Mind Against is the first confirmed name. Tickets already available.


Tomavistas

(19 May – 21 May, Madrid, Spain)

Tomavistas is an indie and alternative music festival in Madrid, Spain. First held in 2014 with a lineup of predominantly Spanish acts, the festival has increasingly attracted established bands and artists from across the globe in recent years, including Cigarettes After Sex, Beach House, Friendly Fires, and Spiritualized.

Nonetheless, Tomavistas remains dedicated to showcasing the most exciting Spanish talent alongside the more well-known names, offering fans of alternative and under-the-radar music a chance to see both rising stars and firm favourites.

This dedication to exciting new music has earned the festival support both in Spain and from further afield, as music fans make their way to the country’s capital for a three day celebration in the heart of the city.


Psychedelic Circus

(19 May – 23 May, Göhlen, Germany)

Psychedelic Circus Open Air Festival is a blend of psychedelic music and circus attractions that creates a fascinating atmosphere.

Encouraging festival-goers to leave their perceptions and judgements at the gate, Psychedelic Circus is all about losing your senses and embracing its adventure playground, filled with colour and energy.

The festival takes place in Göhlen, a tiny part of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region in Germany, that embraces the more psychedelic elements of the electronic music spectrum.


BAUM

(20 May – 21 May, Bogota, Colombia)

Since 2015, BAUM Festival has turned Bogotá into the world capital of electronic music for a night with massive raves that feature with local and international figures behind the decks.

Impressive lineups and the strength of thousands of ravers have turned the festival into the largest dancefloor on the continent, which for the 2022 edition moves to Corferias for what will be two unprecedented days of chest-rattling bass.


Big Beach Spring Break

(25 May – 29 May, Novalja, Croatia)

Big Beach Spring Break is an electronic music festival held in Novalja, Croatia.

Taking over Zrce Beach’s famed hedonistic hot-spot Papaya Club for the entire weekend, the Adriatic coastline will be pumping all day and night; thousands upon thousands of party-goers flock to the raving destination each year to let loose at beach parties, pool parties, and club nights throughout the hot summer nights.
