EXIT Festival 2021, a magnificent and live event that many have been eagerly awaiting, has fully met the expectations of the audience.

EXIT Festival had a great impact with its organization this year. Hosting a major event of this scale for the first time since the beginning of pandemic recession, the event kicked off on 8 July. The four-day event hosted over 180.000 music lovers from all over the world.

The event took place at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, which was built in 18th century. More than half of the audience attending the event came from abroad. Many priceless artists, including Paul Kalkbrenner, Nina Kraviz, Boris Brejcha, Honey Dijon, Solomun, DJ Snake, Tyga, Eric Prydz, Four Tet, Charlotte de Witte, Paul van Dyk, Sepultura, Metronomy, David Guetta and Ece Ekren, reflected the excitement of EXIT 2021 to us.

If we look at the perspective from health issues, only those who have completed the vaccination, those who survived the disease and those who documented a negative test result before the event participated could get into the organization. The screening study carried out a week after the festival, carried out by the Serbian Ministry of Health, shows that only 12 people -out of 100.000-, including all national and international audiences and artists who attended the event, were found to have coronavirus cases.
