1- What inspires you the most in your life, and how do you incorporate these sources of inspiration into your creative process?

Answer: “Without any doubt, contact with nature is my source of inspiration. Whenever I need to create or make an important decision, I go to my finca located in the heart of Ibiza and spend time with my animals; I do garden tasks, I collaborate in the orchard they harvest for us, and I simply keep quiet. I observe, breathe, and meditate on what I have in my hands, or I simply put my mind in white and enjoy the sound of the countryside. I believe that there is no greater luxury in life than to be able to disconnect with something so simple, without the need to do anything, just connect with oneself and with the natural environment.”

2- What period or event in your artistic journey has had the most significant impact on you?

Answer: “I think the time of the pandemic. At that time, the music and entertainment industry suffered a lot from the situation for a long time. That was a key moment because I could have taken two paths: Shut myself up at home and self-destruct, or take advantage of that hiatus of travel and gigs to build new things. I opened my label ‘Lowlita Records’, I had time to produce music, I was very active in streaming, I gave many meet & greets, I chatted hours and hours for many days with people who were interested in my work, also trying to make an exercise of motivation and accompaniment. At that moment, despite not having gigs, my profile grew, and I became more known. From then on, I have not stopped working, and I am very happy to reap the fruits of so many years of hard work and struggle.”

3- Which three words would you use to describe your life, and why?

Answer: “Intensity, adrenaline, generosity. I have an intense life in which things happen all the time. There are no moments when I say… ‘I have nothing to do’; it is practically impossible. That makes my adrenaline always high. I try to overcome challenges and barriers that I encounter along the way, and I get very excited when situations happen that are not under my control. Besides all this, I am a generous person in every way; I listen, I attend, I help… it is not a topic that is related to material things, but to my spirituality.”

4- Can you share some insights about the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your career and how you overcame them?

Answer: “For sure, being mum is the best moment of my career. I got pregnant at the beginning of 2022, just when ‘fairly normal’ life was starting again, and it was a very big shock for me because we spent two years looking for a baby that didn’t arrive, and it just arrived when we had already given up on the idea of be parents. We didn’t want to think about it anymore, but nature is wise, and you can’t schedule something like that as if it were a tour (hahaha). I thought for a few weeks about what decision to make. I was afraid of losing my professional career, with a summer already practically complete on the agenda. I met with my manager and press, and they really encouraged me to keep going. We would find a strategy for this situation, and I think it went smoothly. I was able to work until 30 weeks of pregnancy, the last ones with limitations (no monitors in the cabin, no people in my workspace, and no late nights; this is what my requests were based on in those last weeks), and everything has gone very well. I enjoy my baby and my work in a balanced and very motivated and happy way.”

5- How do you aim to interact and communicate with your audience or viewers throughout your life?

Answer: “The truth is that in my networks, you see a small representation of what I am. 80% of my content is purely professional, and I leave 20% to show my personal life, my animals, training, my ballet classes, my family, and recommendations of places I like, especially in story format. As I also mentioned, I like to do streaming sessions in special locations and share them with my audience. I also participate in talks and audio and video interviews where I interact with viewers and students from some academies and universities.”

6- How has your artistic approach or style evolved over time?

Answer: “It has been a 15-year journey of constant evolution. I have worked in various genres since my beginning. I come from a place where the Balearic Sound was born, so I was characterized by deep and Mediterranean house music. Over the years, starting to play in bigger clubs made me drive into a more tech sound; until today, I feel very comfortable with my current sound, techno with a contingent base that is both melodic and penetrating.”

7- Which of your works holds a special meaning for you and why?

Answer: “My EP My Girls x Lowlita Records. The first track is called ‘GEORGINA’, like my daughter. In it, 3 main changes are expressed, in which I make a melodic representation of the birth of my daughter. Pre, during, and postpartum. 12 hours summarized in just over 6 minutes. It is a track that today is not missing in any of my performances. The second track is ‘LOLA’, my dog’s name. It is dedicated to her joy, emotionality, fidelity, fun, and energy. I love her with all my heart, and I wanted to dedicate this track to her. She was lying at my feet while I was composing the track.

8- What are your thoughts on the role and impact of your life in society?

Answer: “Ufff… I am simply happy to know that I make others happy, whether on a dance floor, on a screen, or on a radio show. I like to know that I contribute something that makes others happy.”

9- What does your creative process look like, and do you have any routines or rituals when working on a piece?

Answer: “For that creative process, I need to have a calm, rested, and free mind. It’s always the same. Everything starts with a synth, a melody, or a composition without lyrics, but that speaks for itself. From there, each of my works is built. The great connection with my fellow engineer Hosse is fundamental. I have learned a lot from him in recent years; he is my second half when it comes to creating and composing.”

10- What are some projects or goals you hope to achieve with your life in the future?

Answer: “In these next months, I have releases with Armada, Truesoul, and Union Thee. I think it’s my best year in terms of music production and releases. I have several dates in Ibiza that need to be announced. Among them is coming back with the Pyramid at Amnesia Ibiza. The next events I have coming up have me really excited. Unthinkable a few years ago that I could see myself at Ultra Australia / Resistance with Carl Cox. Kit Kat Berlin, Kappa Futur Festival, World Club Dome, Medusa Festival, White Rabbit Festival, Aquasella Festival, Space Riccione, Watergate, Brunch in The Park, among others.”
