Technics, the music factory of Europe, introduced its grand class new turntable.
This newly released product is actually a follow-up model that the same company produced in summer 2020 in a limited way. In fact, as you all will remember, it resembles the black version of the SL-1200G model released in 2016.
“We realised there was high demand for a ‘regular’ black version of this flagship 1200 Series model. In its striking black finish, the new SL-1210G possesses genuine elegance.”
This is the comment that Technics product manager Frank Balzuweit briefly summarized the newly released turntable.
If we look at its technical features, the product is shaped around an iron-coreless motor and thus provides a stable rotation opportunity. At the same time, it eliminates that bad effect made by tiny vibrations caused by threaded joint when the deck rotates. Perhaps the most important innovation is the establishment of a system that will reduce the load of the rotor even when there is a strong moment of force.
The SL-1210G will be on the market in Europe starting next week in October and is announced to be set cost for £3499/€3999. For more information on the product or to purchase, please visit Technics’ website.
