Drumsheds: a New 15,000-Person Warehouse Venue By The Team Behind Printworks
Unveiling Drumsheds: Broadwick's 15,000-capacity haven for techno enthusiasts in London. Dive into a new era of musical and cultural vibrance.
Broadwick’s new “warehouse”, Drumsheds, with the same name, appears to establish itself in its new location quickly.
The team behind Drumsheds is none other than Broadwick, the creative minds responsible for venues like Printworks, The Beams, and Depot Mayfield. This 15,000-person capacity space promises a completely new concept compared to its nearby predecessor, The Drumsheds, which closed in early 2022.
Drumsheds has already made a big splash with its initial lineup, featuring renowned artists like Bicep, The Hydra, Gorgon City, La Discothéque, and KNTXT London by Charlotte De Witte. Despite its massive 15,000-person capacity, tickets for many events have sold out, indicating that Drumsheds is on its way to becoming the new home for techno music enthusiasts.
There are three (3) ticket categories available for sale: General Admission, Early Entry, and Drumsheds Plus. And the ticket prices range from £30 to £80, depending on the event and category.
Prices are for Charlotte de Witte Presents KNTXT London, scheduled for 9th December 2023.
Unlike other categories, The Drumsheds Plus Ticket offers guests an elevated experience with skip-the-line entry and exclusive access to a platform with unmatched views of the main stage in The X Room. Ticket holders also have access to the VIP area with separate bars and restrooms.
Finding Your Friends!
Drumsheds has partnered with the find-your-friends platform “Where You At“, an app that helps guests find their friends in venues with no phone signal or Wi-Fi. Download the app for free on the App Store.
Protect Your Hearing!
This venue doesn’t just focus on providing a great music experience but also considers the comfort of its patrons. They offer ear protection for those who may be sensitive to high decibels, ensuring a thoughtful experience for all attendees.
Stay Hydrated!
Moreover, staying hydrated is a priority at Drumsheds. Free water stations are available to help dancers quench their thirst, emphasizing the venue’s attention to detail.
Drumsheds is located in Meridian Water and just four (4) minutes from Tottenham Hale underground station. In a former IKEA warehouse, this venue aims to be “more impactful than anything in London“. Drumsheds is set to be a game-changer in the world of cultural spaces. This sprawling venue spans 608,000 square feet and features three (3) main rooms as well as an outdoor area and the gallery. Making it the first dedicated cultural space of this scale and kind.
Drumsheds Comprises Three (3) Main Rooms, a Gallery, and an Outdoor Area
Room X
The main space at Drumsheds, Room X, is one of London‘s largest warehouse areas. It boasts soaring ceilings, sprawling floors, and a 15,000-person capacity. Equipped with an impressive stage, state-of-the-art sound systems, generators, rigging equipment, and dressing rooms, it’s a true haven for music and culture enthusiasts.
Room Y
Drumsheds Room Y, the second space, can accommodate 5,000 people. While slightly smaller, it maintains the raw industrial feel. The room features a flexible layout, a stage, a PA system, power, and rigging systems, making it suitable for a wide range of events, from cultural and musical gatherings to fashion shows and filming.
Room Z
Despite its intimate size, Drumsheds Room Z offers a capacity of 1,000. Positioned as a smaller and more personal space, it serves as a perfect connector between the other two rooms. With power and rigging systems, this area is ideal for exclusive events or functions that require a cozier atmosphere.
+ The Gallery
Located on the second level of Drumsheds, The Gallery is a spacious area with a capacity of 5,000. This versatile space is perfect for various types of events and can also serve as an additional hire for Rooms X, Y, and Z. It provides full power and rigging facilities.
Simeon Aldred (Director of Strategy at Broadwick) says:
“Broadwick’s mission has always been to build brands that deliver unrivaled, live experiences that create real impact. We are proud to announce DRUMSHEDS, set to be London’s most impactful cultural space of its kind, set across 608,000 sqft in North London. We want Drumsheds, like all the spaces we create, to be new centers of cultural gravity that provide the basis for human connection. A connection that people crave now more than ever.”
The venue also clearly stated in a post shared on Instagram that full body and bag searches will be carried out before entry is allowed and that drug detection dogs will be present at all events.
In a nutshell, Drumsheds promises to redefine the cultural space landscape in London. With its impressive size, commitment to attendee comfort, and a lineup of top-notch artists, it’s poised to become a hub for culture and music enthusiasts.
