About Cihlák Open Air

Rakovnik is a town of 16,000 an hour west of Prague, in the country between the capital and the Krivoklat forests. Czech open air festivals of this size run largely on their own audience rather than international traffic, which is what keeps them affordable.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site. Prague is an hour away by road with Vaclav Havel Airport serving the capital from across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and Czech prices mean a weekend costs a fraction of the western European equivalent.
