About APEX
Apex returns to the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim on 6 March 2027, twelve hours of hardstyle in what the organisers call the indoor hardstyle festival in Germany. Musical Madness produce it, and the Maimarkthalle is the same exhibition hall that hosts Toxicator in December.
The 2026 edition ran under the title Enter The Next Dimension, with aftermovies published for each year back to 2024. Twelve hours in a single large hall is a format that suits hardstyle: the production builds across the night rather than splitting the audience across rooms.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site. Mannheim sits on the high speed line between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, 35 minutes from Frankfurt and 40 from Stuttgart, with Frankfurt Airport the obvious arrival point. The Rhine-Neckar region has one of the densest hard dance audiences in Germany, which is why two major events use the same hall within three months of each other. For a German hardstyle music festival, Apex is the spring date.
