The September series of the techno music event calendar is ready. All the festivals organized this month that you can attend are listed below.
Chronologically, we compile the events that attract attention and expected throughout the month for fans and share the significant notifications with the public, such as line-ups, ticket fees etc. For more, please follow our website and stay tuned for the updates. DIMENSIONS FESTIVAL
(1 Sep – 5 Sep, Tisno, Croatia)
Dimensions Festival is heading down the Croatian coast, taking place across two stunning locations, the idyllic Garden Resort in Tisno and Barbarellas Discotheque.
A continuation of the festival’s heritage, the festival will bring the same commitment to programming, sound quality, spirit, and a continued nurturing of a close-knit community of labels and club partners, adding the signature Dimensions touch to the Garden Resort.
One of the world’s most unique nightclubs, Barbarellas Discotheque is located just a short drive from the main festival site. Boasting the stars as its ceiling, it’s a truly magical space that has to be experienced, adored by artists and festival-goers alike.
POSITIV FESTIVAL
(2 Sep – 3 Sep, Tisno, Croatia)
Positiv Festival continues with a two day event in September, putting together an event of world-class electronic music, the first on 2 September with the likes of Peggy Gou, Artbat and more, and the second on 3 September with Music On presenting Marco Carola, Loco Dice and more.
Théâtre antique d’Orange is a large, Roman amphitheatre with a well-preserved stage that is now used for concerts and arts events.
ESSENTIAL FESTIVAL
(3 Sep, Tisno, Croatia)
Essential Festival is a multi-genre music festival in Oost-Maarland, Maastricht, Netherlands. Mixing live acts and DJs, the festival is a classic one day retreat from urban life.
Curating a lineup of dance, pop, hip hop, and r&b acts, Essential festival puts national talent at the forefront, while also offering international acts.
Recreatiepark Oost-Maarland is a scenic outdoor setting featuring fields, forest, and a lake.
LIEF FESTIVAL
(3 Sep, Utrecht, Netherlands)
Lief Festival is an electronic music festival in Utrecht, Netherlands. Anchored in but not limited to techno, the festival annually presents a lineup of legends and up-and-comers. Having its inaugural edition in 2006, Lief Festival takes place the first Saturday of September and acts as an unofficial summer farewell party.
With four stages and more areas to discover, the festival is set in the Recreatieplas Strijkviertel, which features grassy open spaces, forests, and even a sandy beach. The festival will feature a stage on the beach area, a main stage on a grassy bank, a house of guilty pleasures in the woods, a tented stage and a stage that reaches into the water.
HIDE & SEEK FESTIVAL
(3 Sep – 4 Sep,Macclesfield, UK)
Hide & Seek presents ‘Life In Colour’! Here to inject new life and multi-sensory experiences back into the atmosphere. It will allow people to truly express themselves after what has been a black and white period in our lives. It’s time to dance, reconnect, laugh and love. Time to see life through a different lens as Hide&Seek tell a story, a story that will last a lifetime.
The music is a mouthwatering selection of underground heroes, taste-making DJs and influential selectors who have a forward-thinking sound. They span all forms of house, electro, breaks and minimal.
This year’s Hide & Seek is set to be an unreal celebration of the power of dance music to bring us together, and in more sensational colour than ever before.
AMNESIA TAKE OVER CROATIA
(7 Sep – 10 Sep, Novalja, Croatia)
Amnesia returns to the Island of Pag in Croatia, from 7 – 10 September, and takes its world-famous Ibiza experience back to the hedonistic Zrce Beach.
Expect 4 days and 4 nights of partying with the Amnesia Ibiza family.
DECIBEL OPEN AIR
(10 Sep – 11 Sep, Florence, Italy)
Decibel Open Air is an electronic music festival in the historic Italian city of Florence.
Turning the world-famous Visarno Arena into one of Europe’s biggest dance parties, the festival puts the titans of techno and electronic music in front of the arena’s vast, panoramic crowd.
Expect a friendly international following, who are drawn year on year to the festival’s fierce passion for electronic music.
THE PEACOCK SOCIETY
(10 Sep – 11 Sep, Paris, France)
The Peacock Society Festival is one of France’s best-loved electronic music events, a festival that regularly welcomes the finest names in underground house and techno to the French capital for an unforgettable weekend.
The Peacock Society is making its big comeback at the Parc de Choisy in Paris on Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 September. Two days of celebration, 30,000 festival-goers expected, and around forty artists performing on 5 stages, with beautiful scenes nestle in the middle of the woods, in harmony with the environment.
DRUMCODE FESTIVAL MALTA
(15 Sep – 18 Sep, Valetta, Malta)
Drumcode Festival Malta will be taking over the island in September of 2022. The festival will be dedicated to techno, with 8 curated stages featuring 40+ artists from the Drumcode family and beyond. The Drumcode family is looking forward to waving goodbye to 2020 and welcoming you to the sunny island of Malta next year.
Over 40 artists will play the four-day event headlined by Adam Beyer, who’s invited the cream of the world’s techno scene to join him, led by Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex and Chris Liebing. Highlights include a live performance from Kevin Saunderson’s legendary E-Dancer project, while Chicago luminary DJ Rush makes his Drumcode event debut.
CAPRICES FESTIVAL
(16 Sep – 18 Sep, Cras-Montana, Switzerland)
Caprices Festival is a Swiss electronic music festival held in the beautiful Swiss Alpine resort of Crans-Montana, inviting an enviable selection of house and techno DJs and producers for an incredible mountaintop party.
For this autumn edition, expect to be dancing across TWO daytime stages at the top of the mountains with some of the best acts in the game.
The now iconic MDRNTY stage, one of the most visually stunning music venues in the world, that sits 2,200m above sea level, offers panoramic views of the crystalline skies and snow-capped mountain vista.
The resort itself boasts a broad selection of eateries ranging from mountain huts to award-winning restaurants, numerous boutiques and shops, a wellness centre and a variety of entertainment including 140km of pistes, 100,000m² snow park, illuminated ice rink and an eco museum.
TOKYO WORLD FESTIVAL
(17 Sep – 18 Sep, Bristol, UK)
Tokyo World Festival returns to Bristol in September 2022, as it curates another epic lineup of urban and dance music inside Eastville Park.
Inviting over 25,000 dance fans to party all weekend to everything from house through to grime and drum and bass, Tokyo World has firmly established itself as one of Bristol’s most popular festivals.
And once the main music finishes, the festival will be laying on an afterparty each night for those eagle-eyed ravers keen to carry on through till sunrise.
OASIS FESTIVAL
(23 Sep – 24 Sep, Dakhla, Morocco)
Morocco’s Oasis Festival has now established itself as a leader in North Africa’s thriving festival scene. Introducing Into the Wild, a special offshoot of Oasis that takes us outside our natural habitat in Marrakech and invites our audience to discover Morocco’s most exciting travel destinations through the lens of music, food, and art de vivre.
Dance to some of the world’s best DJs on an intimate stage set against the backdrop of Dakhla’s breathtaking central lagoon. Consisting of just a few hundred adventures, the festival will give you the chance to recharge your mind, body and soul through wellness activities, panels, and food vendors.
The point of convergence between the Sahara and the sea, Dakhla is one of Morocco’s most exciting up-and-coming destinations.
APOCALYPSA: TO THE MOON AND BACK
(23 Sep, Brno, Czechia)
Apokalypsa To the Moon and Back is the 47th episode of the prestigious techno brand’s long-running events.
After the success of their 20th anniversary in 2019, Apokalypsa once again returns in September 2022 with a stacked roster of DJs bringing sounds spanning minimal, high-tempo, and four-to-the-floor techno.
With typical hi-spec visual production in tow, it’ll be a 12-hour rave of interstellar proportions.
BEON1X OPEN MIND MUSIC FESTIVAL
(23 Sep – 2 Oct, Larnaca, Cyprus)
BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival, is a brand-new electronic dance music festival, that will mark an ambitious debut event across two weekends, from the 23 – 25 Sep and from 30 Sep – 2 Oct on the beautiful island of Cyprus.
BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival will be held at CTO Beach near Larnaca Town, with a world class line-up that includes Carl Cox, Boris Brejcha, Jamie Jones, Luciano, Paul Kalkbrenner live, Guy Gerber, Satori live, Sasha & Digweed, Sven Väth, Deborah De Luca, Chelina Manuhutu, Fatima Hajji, Guy J and many more.

FORT FESTIVAL
(30 Sep – 2 Oct, Girona, Spain)
Fort Festival is an underground electronic music festival, this year held in Roses in Spain’s northeast, close to the Catalonian city of Girona.
The festival will celebrate its fourth edition at a historical location, once again bringing together some of the greatest international DJs and producers of underground electronic music for three days.
