Techno Festival Calendar: December

The December series of the techno music event calendar is ready. All the festivals organized this month that you can attend are listed below.

Chronologically, we compile the events that attract attention and expected throughout the month for fans and share the significant notifications with the public, such as line-ups, ticket fees etc. For more, please follow our website and stay tuned for the updates. (15 Dec – 18 Dec, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria)

Rave on Snow is an Austrian snowsports and electronic music festival, held in the famous Austrian resort of Saalbach-Hinterglemm each December, home of the festival for more than two decades.

Now almost 25 years old, the festival has become one of Europe’s most popular winter parties, hosting some of house and techno’s finest names.

For three days the festival transforms Saalbach into a party hub, turning its mountain terraces, log cabins and bars and clubs into an end of year frenzy.

Valhalla Festival is a dance music festival in Amsterdam. Annually taking over the RAI Amsterdam, this is one of the most immersive festivals on the Dutch party calendar.

A surreal carnival, mysterious creatures and performers roam the venue making the event unlike your average festival.

But of course like any good gathering music is the main event. Valhalla Festival features an eclectic lineup of party-starting electronic acts spinning everything from house and disco to techno and R&B.

RAI Amsterdam is a massive convention centre that is ideal for accommodating huge performances from the festival’s staggering lineup.

Adriatique, the Swiss melodic journeymen, invite you to ‘X’. X is a gathering for the ever curious, the explorers and those who ask what could be. X marks the spot where two paths cross. X defines a new intersection for music, visionary art/ists and physical phenomena.

On Saturday Dec 17th 2022, expect a transformed Halle 622 in Zurich, Switzerland.


(29 Dec – 1 Jan, Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Awakenings New Years will celebrate New Years Eve and the days before at Amsterdam’s stunning Gashouder.

Event will start on Thursday 29 December with the likes of 999999999, Amelie Lens and Ellen Allien among others and the party will continue the next day with Nina Kraviz, Paula Temple, Rebekah and more.

For the Big night on New Year’s Eve, techno maestros Adam Beyer, Ilario Alicante, Joris Voorn and more will play, and finally at the New Year’s Day Kobosil, Richie Hawtin, Ki/Ki and more will take control the Gashouder dj booth.


(31 Dec, Brussells, Belgium)

FCKNYE Festival is a hardcore techno festival celebrating New Year’s Eve in the Belgian capital. FCKNYE takes place in the capital’s massive Palais 12 in Heysel Exhibition Park, one of the biggest venues in Belgium.

The event has firmly established itself as one of the country’s biggest events to welcome in the new year. Expect face-melting EDM, techno, hard-styles, drum’n’bass and more to push you into 2023 with force.


(31 Dec, Lyon, France)

FCKNYE Festival Lyon is the French edition of the FCKNYE brand held on New Year’s Eve in the central city of Lyon.

Celebrating both the brand’s ten year anniversary and of course the end of the year, expect an especially big blow out, with face-melting techno, progressive house, drum’n’bass, EDM and more.

The festival will be held in Eurexpo, a large venue and exhibition hall in Chassieu, a commune in the south-east of Lyon.

Verknipt and Free Your Mind are joining forces for an 11-hour techno marathon at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Saturday 31 December.

An impressive venue, two of the leading techno organizations, a lineup consisting of today’s hardest techno artists, a massive laser show and 12,000 ravers ready to go hard seems like the ultimate recipe to start 2023 in style. Bigger is better when it comes to this edition!

Verknipt host their New Year’s Eve party this December in Klokgebouw Eindhoven. As with all Verknipt events, this end of year celebration will showcase the finest underground electronic music, with the hardest artists out there, that will provide an extra special Verknipt show to end the year on a high note.

One of The Netherlands’ most prolific promoters, Verknipt has been pushing the Dutch party scene forward since 2012, promoting local and up-and-coming talent in the process. Over the past years the organisation has shown her face all over the country, conquering the hearts of fans all over the Netherlands.
